Four steps: pick a league, pay for your spot, fill in the player survey, then wait for your first game email. You can do all of it on the seasons page or in the Just Play app, and it takes about five minutes.
Find a league. Filter by city and sport, then open the listing and read it properly: number of games, competition level, game time range, venue and uniform. How to read a league listing explains what each field means.
Pay for your spot. The price is on the first page of the listing, and payment is only taken when you confirm your place. You are buying one spot in a team, and it covers your share of the team entry plus all game fees for the season. See How much does a season cost, and what's included?.
Fill in the player survey. Social or competitive, position preference, date of birth, your address (some competitions require it) and a photo for your profile. If you are joining with a friend, name them here and get them to name you: Can I play with a friend, or sign up as a group?.
Wait for your first game details. We build the team, give it a name, and email you the date, time, venue and what to wear. See What happens after I sign up?.
Then what happens
You play the same team on the same night each week. If you cannot make a week, update your RSVP in the app so we can find a fill-in, and the app carries the fixture, the lineup and the team chat. Nothing else is required of you.
