You can cancel at any time. Two things to know first: cancelling doesn't refund a season you've already paid for, and if you just want to stop the next season being charged, that's a different, simpler step.
Leaving a season you've already paid for
You keep your place for the rest of the season, and there's no refund for the weeks you don't play. If you're thinking about walking away mid-season, read Can I get a refund? first.
Cancelling gives up your guaranteed team placement. If you come back later, you register again like anyone else.
Stopping the next season from being charged
Season registrations renew automatically. To stop the next one, use the opt-out toggle in the app or dashboard any time up to your renewal date. We email you the next season's details a few weeks before the charge, then a reminder arrives 6 days before it, subject "Subscription reminder - Just Play <Team Name>".
If you'd rather we do it for you, message us by email or SMS up to 10am the day before your renewal date. Full detail is in Does my season renew automatically, and how do I stop it?.
How to cancel
Open your profile in the Just Play app and turn off the renewal for the team you're leaving
Or message us by email or SMS, naming the competition and team, by 10am the day before your renewal date
Either way, keep the confirmation
If the app won't let you cancel, don't wait it out. Email us at [email protected] ([email protected]) or message us in the app before the renewal date, and we'll handle it. We're online Monday to Thursday 11am to 7pm, Friday and Sunday 2pm to 5pm, and closed Saturday, all Melbourne time (AEST/AEDT).
Still need a hand? Contact us before the renewal date rather than after it. For casual bookings, see Can I cancel or change a One Game booking?.
