Yes, and we guarantee it. Friends who register for the same league together are placed in the same team. If we can't place you together, we'll refund you in full.
How to make sure it works
Check the league listing has room for all of you. Every listing shows the spots available, and for mixed leagues it shows them by gender.
Register together in one registration, on the website or in the Just Play app. That's the simplest way and keeps you together automatically.
If you register separately, do it at about the same time. Spots are first come, first served, so if one of you waits a fortnight the team may already be full.
After you register you'll get a short player survey. If you registered together you don't need to worry about the friends section. If a mate is joining at another time, list their name in your player survey, or send us a message through the website or app with their full name and we'll make a note on your player profile.
Signing up as a group of three or more
Groups are placed together wherever the squad size allows. A basketball squad is 8 or 9 players and a netball squad is 10 to 12, so a big group can fill most of a side on its own. See How do you build teams? for squad sizes by sport.
Mixed competitions have gender requirements that affect how a group is placed. These are set by the venue and shown on the league listing.
