One Game is a single, one-off social sport game that you book on its own. No season, no team to commit to, no fixed night in your calendar. You pick a game, book a spot, turn up and play, and that is the whole arrangement.
You book them in the One Game tab of the Just Play app, or on the games page.
What you can play
Basketball, netball, futsal, touch, footy 7s, volleyball, indoor cricket, pickleball and more, at 150+ venues around the country. New games go up daily and the popular ones sell out, so the list changes constantly.
Who it suits
You want a game this week without signing up to a whole season
You are between seasons and do not want to lose the habit
Your work changes week to week and a fixed night does not work
You want to try a sport before committing to it
You already play a season and want extra games on top
What it costs
The price is shown on each game listing before you book.
How booking works
Open the One Game tab in the app, or the games page on the website
Filter by sport, city, night and time
Open a game to see the venue, start time, skill level and how many spots are left
Book your spot, and share the game with a friend if you want company: see How do I invite a friend to my game?
Your confirmation email arrives with the venue address and what to do on arrival
You can generally book up to about a week ahead. Everything you need on the night, including the lineup and the team chat, sits in the app.
One Game or a season?
One Game is the low commitment option and it is genuinely good. But if what you actually want is the same people every week, a season does that better and works out cheaper per game. The honest comparison is in Seasons or One Game: which one should I pick?.
