Wear a black top. That is the rule for every Just Play sport except basketball. If you play basketball, you wear the Just Play reversible black and white singlet, with black shorts that have no pockets. There are no team colours.
The uniform by sport
Basketball: the Just Play reversible black and white singlet ($45), plus black shorts with no pockets. The reversible singlet matters because it lets your team switch to white when the other side is in dark colours. Pockets are a safety rule at most venues.
Every other sport: a black top ($35). A plain black t-shirt or singlet is fine to start with, and the Just Play playing top is what most teams end up in.
Touch and some other sports: these competitions need numbers on the back. Iron-on numbers ship out with your uniform top when your competition requires them.
Always check the uniform requirement for your own competition before you buy anything. It is shown on the registration page on the website and in the app, and it is repeated in the confirmation email you got when you registered. If your top has not arrived in time for game one, you can generally still play, but contact us first.
What to bring
Not much. Non-marking shoes for indoor courts and a water bottle cover most games. Anything specific to your competition, such as shinpads for most soccer and futsal, is listed on the league page, and we remind you before your first game.
