Just Play runs social sport in five Australian cities: Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Which sports run near you depends on the venue partners in that city, so the seasons page is always the accurate list.

The sports

  • Basketball

  • Soccer: futsal, 5-a-side, 6-a-side, 7-a-side and more

  • Netball

  • Volleyball

  • Touch football

  • Pickleball (a few competitions now, more coming)

  • Plus more, depending on the city and venue

Each sport has its own page with the format and squad size, for example basketball.

Where the venues are

Venues include basketball associations, community and council leisure centres, university sport facilities and independent indoor stadiums: Lords Recreation Centre in Subiaco and Cockburn ARC in Perth, Albert Park and Coburg in Melbourne, and Cook and Phillip Park in Sydney are typical of the network.

We work with 65+ venue partners across 150+ venues.

If nothing is running in your suburb right now, check again in a month. Seasons run on a rolling basis and new venue partners come on regularly. If you can't find anything that suits, message us in the app or email [email protected] ([email protected]). We often know about competitions that are about to open, and we'll tell you straight if there's nothing near you.

Still need a hand? Filter by city and sport on the Just Play website, or try a single game first: Seasons or One Game: which one should I pick?.
