There is one fee for late notice and one for a no-show, both $15, charged to the payment method on your account.
What counts as late
Update your RSVP at least 24 hours before the game. Any change made on the day of the game is a late RSVP. The RSVP window stays open until 30 minutes before the game starts, then the lineup locks.
The $15 late RSVP fee is charged for repeated late RSVPs that cause your team to forfeit.
No-shows
A no-show is being marked as attending and then not arriving. It carries a $15 fee. It is treated more seriously than late notice, because the lineup was built around you and nobody had the chance to cover the spot.
What happens after a no-show
Your status for upcoming games is switched to not attending, so you are not counted in a lineup you might not make. You can switch it back on in the app whenever you want.
Two unexplained no-shows in a season, or three late RSVPs in a season, and you're removed from the team. We understand two emergencies happening, not more.
Registration isn't refunded if you're removed.
Forfeits
A forfeit is when a team cannot field enough players to start. It is the outcome all of this is designed to avoid, because it costs two teams their night rather than one.
If something genuinely went wrong
Tell us. Illness, injury and work emergencies are real, and they are why there is a person at the other end of the contact form. Ask for the charge to be reviewed and say what happened.
