So, you're looking to join a Just Play team, but not quite sure what to expect. Will you be out of your depth, or dominating the court? Whilst it's super normal to worry about this prior to a season starting, we here at Just Play HQ are pretty good at putting together teams of similar skill levels. So relax, and let us take you through it.

A typical 'Just Play' player may have been out of the game for a little while, or relocated to a new city (or part of town) and wants to get back into playing.
They might not be a gun, but they generally know the rules of the game.

Alternatively, you might be looking to try out a new sport, in which case Just Play is still the perfect pace for you. Almost all of our competitions have divisions to cater to people of all abilities and we will find a team to suit where you are at.

90% of our competitions are suitable for players of all skill levels. If this is not the case for a particular season, we’ll be sure to say so clearly on the season information page – it will say something like 'suitable for intermediate and advanced players only'.

When you complete your player profile, we will ask you whether you are looking for a social or competitive game, as well as your age. We then use this info to try to match you to the best team possible, with people who want a similar game, and are of a similar age.

Our advice: don’t overthink it – better to jump in and start playing. You’ll be glad you did.
