Every so often we opt every player in a team out of their next game and message the team asking anyone still keen to opt back in. If that has happened to you, nothing is wrong with your registration. We are taking a headcount.
When we do it
The team has not played for two weeks or more, because of holidays, weather or byes.
A game was forfeited because not enough players turned up.
Attendance has been sliding week on week.
No game reports have come in for two weeks or more.
There were several no-shows or late cancellations in the previous week.
Why it helps
A lineup full of people marked as attending who are not really coming is worse than a short lineup we know about. If we know a team is down to six, we can add players or book fill-ins. If the app says nine and four arrive, the team plays short or forfeits and everyone has a bad night. A reset turns a guess into a real number.
What you need to do
Open the app, go to the Schedule tab and opt back in to the games you can make. That is the whole job. If you do not opt back in, you will simply be left out of that lineup, and we may fill the spot with a fill-in.
What it does not mean
It is not a penalty, and it is not linked to any fee.
You do not lose your place in the team by sitting one game out.
It does not change your registration, your subscription or your payment.
