If your outdoor game is called off for weather, you will hear from us. The decision belongs to the venue or the competition partner rather than to Just Play, and we generally know by 5pm local time on game day.
If you have not heard from us, the game is on. Plan on heading down.
How you will hear
When a game is cancelled, we always send an SMS and an app push. So keep your details current, and check your phone before you leave rather than when you arrive.
Do I get my money back
It depends on the venue and competition. Some competitions guarantee a number of games and replay washouts; others shorten the season instead.
What we can say is that the number of games on a listing is an estimate. It can move with byes, forfeits and venue availability. The general refund position is in Can I get a refund?.
Which competitions this affects
Only the outdoor ones, which is where touch, footy 7s, outdoor netball and outdoor 5-a-side soccer sit. Indoor competitions run in any weather, although a venue can still close for its own reasons, and if that happens you will be told the same way.
If you turned up and nobody else did
Tell us that night if you can. A game that did not go ahead is handled differently from a game your team forfeited, and we can only tell the difference if someone says so.
