To our beloved Just Play community, due to the COVID-19 situation all of our venues are temporarily closed as of Monday 23rd March.

We've spent the last 7 years creating Just Play and while this is the toughest time we've ever faced, we're so excited for the day we can get people back playing. We have decided to take this time to reset and will be closing the office while we do this.

For all of our current players - all our team subscriptions have been automatically suspended as of today and we will contact you to reinstate this before we take any new payments after re-opening. There is no need to contact us, we've got you covered.


Returning on the other side:
We're going to be updating everyone with information on their teams / seasons / games as soon as this becomes clear from our partner venues. It's our intention for all our current players to receive the number of games that were paid for prior to this COVID-19 enforced pause. Please understand that refunds are not possible.

Please look after yourself and your loved ones, we look forward to having you back playing as soon as it is safe to do so.

Players in teams that have started playing (have had their first game)

The competitions we play in are managed by our competition partners and any decision to suspend a competition is made by our partners. More info on what our partners do and what we do.

We work with over 150 different venues many of which are at different stages of their seasons and will be affected differently. For all competitions we are expecting games to resume following competition suspensions and venue closures and for players to be able to resume playing as soon as it is safe to be able to do so.

We're looking forward to the day we can facilitate games of sport again and can't wait to have you running / shooting / throwing / kicking a ball again.

Players yet to start playing (registered for seasons that haven't started yet)

We're planning on getting you out there as soon as it is safe to do so and the government reopens the venues that our competitions run at.

We appreciate that these are unusual times and as such have introduced the option for anyone who has registered for an upcoming season to be provided with a credit for the full amount of their registration that can be used at a later date. If you would like to take up this offer please just send us an in-app message or an email to [email protected] and we can process this for you.


This is a rapidly developing situation and it will continue to be closely monitored by the team at Just Play. Our highest priority is the safety of our players and staff and we are following expert advice from the following organisations on the matter:

At this stage all of the competitions Just Play teams participate in have suspended games. While some have listed a timeframe with a target return date (mostly 2-4 weeks at this stage) others have informed us that games and seasons will resume as soon as it is safe to do so.


Finally, we appreciate your patience and understanding in what is a difficult time for our whole community. We're receiving a lot of enquiries and are doing our best to provide our players with the most up to date information.

We're thankful that what we do isn't life and death and our thoughts are with all those affected by COVID-19 and our health professionals at this time. We'll be updating this FAQ and communicating information that affects you as it comes to hand.
