Yes. Groups are welcome, whether that is a uni club, a community group, a running group looking for a winter sport, a friendship group or a team who already play together.
Your options
Bring a full team. If you have a squad, you enter as a team and play the season together.
Bring part of a team. Four or five is plenty. We top the squad up with individual players, which is what we do all day.
Bring a lot of people. If you have enough for more than one side, we can look at putting you across two teams in the same comp so nobody sits out. With four teams' worth of players or more, roughly 30 keen players, we can look at running a competition just for your group. Email David directly at [email protected].
Just play once. A one off game is the low commitment way to get a group on a court. Each person books their own spot, and the price is on each game listing.
Keeping everyone together
We guarantee to place friends in the same team. Every league listing shows the spots available, so check there is room for all of you and register together in one registration on the website or app. If we can't place you together, we'll refund you in full. See Can I play with a friend, or sign up as a group?.
Squads are deliberately a little larger than the team on court, because people travel and get sick.
Things worth knowing
All players must be 18 or over.
Teams play in a black Just Play top, except basketball, which plays in the reversible black and white singlet. See What do I wear, and what should I bring to a game?.
Everyone pays their own registration unless we have agreed something different with you.
Still need a hand? If it is a workplace rather than a social group, read Can we set up social sport for our workplace?. Otherwise get in touch with us with your rough numbers, your sport and your suburb.
